Always did have a thing for Triplicate Girl, even after she became Duo-Damsel. Harem is all that in duplicate. However, is there a reason GND, aka "Thing 1" has crossed eyes? Just asking, cuz it makes her look even ditzier than she acts in the comic.
Do they have their own names for their doppelganger selves? I'm already thinking of them by my own pet names. Milly for the one in military uniform all the time. Strawberry for Thing 1. Prudence for the one with white hair and her little plaid skirt. Elvira for the goth one. Valley G for the blond. (I didn't say thay were good names!) Prudence is my favorite, so far. Thanks for sharing, DaveB.
Yeah, currently she refers to herselves (?) from left ro right as: Vogue, Goth, Co-Ed, Vanilla (or Farmer's Daughter or Girl Next Door - this is her "unmodified" look) and Punk. Punk only happens to be dressed in military gear at the moment because Maxima chewed her out for doing field work in her civvies. She has retired wardrobes as well. Vogue used to be Cowgirl for example. She updates every few years.
They all have blue eyes. I imagine Goth sometimes wears colored contacts. As for her choice of clothing, she's of the mindset that she is an attractive and fit 19 year old girl living in a culture that holds a certain value to those things, and she's taking advantage of it.
5 bodies, 1 mind, a whole lot of hawtness. I'm just curious, and this leads back to the wedgie incident, that if one of them is "with" someone, do they all feel it, thus creating much more awkward moments akin to what was in the comic? Or is it more of a singular thing since on a whole the entire "body" knows of it?
Hey, do all the Harems have the same physique? Like if one copy ate a whole bunch of junk and got really fat, or if one was more muscly than the others, when she morphed back into the one entity would it like... even out? Or do the individual copies even out amongst themselves so they're all the same before they're copied? So curious!
When a new one is first created, it's identical to the others, but since they're persistent from that point on, she can go to the gym more with one body more than the others if she wanted more of a dancer's physique or whatever. That's why she can cut and dye her hair and it stays that way. She actually has quite a few tattoos which I have almost entirely neglected to show. I may need to go back and lay those in once I figure out what/where they are.
Do their bodies reset when they teleport? And if so, to which model at what point? After all, teleportation is effectively creating a new duplicate identical to the old one, while destroying the old one. I like that Harem's power allows her to ignore the requirement of destroying the old one up to five times at a time.
Another question I was discussing with a friend; what about her equipment? Clothing, weapony, gear. We've seen in the comic that she takes her clothing, and any held, inanimate objects, with her when she teleports. If she were at less than five active duplicates, and teleported without destroying the original (thus creating a duplicate), would the duplicate have all the same clothes and equipment the original was wearing?
Each one is persistent, so nothing is destroyed technically, but she can also "unteleport" one or all of herself (as long as one is left obviously) and just exist as 4 of herself, or 3, 2 or 1. She doesn't like doing that because it feels like she's walking around with an eyepatch or earplugs, not having all her eyes and ears out in the world simultaneously, but she does become stronger when she's at less than 5. As to what happens to her bodies when they're unteleported, no one is quite sure, though I imagine Dabbler has a few theories.
